We're on a mission to help urban planners and infrastructure providers worldwide to turn data into foresight and foresight into better cities.
Our story
Forecaz was founded in 2011 as Sizztech by Bradley Rasmussen who had a clear goal - to solve complex urban design and growth challenges using the latest technology and spatial services.
Back then, urban planners and infrastructure providers were drowning in spreadsheets and outdated assumptions, trying to predict where and how communities would develop.
Bradley knew there had to be a better way. One that combined the rigour of data science with the irreplaceable insight of human planning expertise. Bradley recognised that a better approach was possible. A process that united the precision of data science with the indispensable insight of human planning expertise.
Today, we power planning decisions for some of Australia's fastest-growing regions, including the City of Gold Coast, City of Moreton Bay and Toowoomba Region Council. We also assist water utilities such as Urban Utilities and Unitywater in optimising capital expenditure while upholding high service standards across some of Australia's largest growing regions.
In February 2026, we rebranded from Sizztech to Forecaz - one brand providing both the Forecaz platform and implementation services.

Our leadership team are the driving force behind Forecaz. They guide and support our growing team in delivering solutions and services to our customers.
Bradley Rasmussen
CEO & Principal Consultant
With over 35 years of experience in information technology, Bradley is the founder and CEO of Sizztech, which has now rebranded to Forcaz. As the solution architect and designer of Forecaz, he specialises in capturing urban planning knowledge and performing complex data transformations to produce robust, credible scenario models.
Bradley has led the delivery of urban growth models for major organisations including Unitywater, Urban Utilities, and the City of Gold Coast. He is an Associate Member of the Planning Institute of Australia (PIA) and a member of the PIA Qld PlanTech Committee.
Ryan Tongs
Head of Software Engineering
Ryan leads the software engineering team, managing the development team and working directly with clients to implement custom enhancements and solve complex modelling challenges.
Ryan brings a strong background in machine learning, statistics, and neural networks to the Forecaz team. He has been a pivotal figure in the development of the Forecaz platform, architecting its scalable model generation engine and leading major updates to its web interface.
Julia Roso
Principal Urban Analyst
Julia has been involved with Forecaz, since it's inception. She brings a unique multidisciplinary background in software engineering, strategic planning, and civil engineering to the team.
Her prior experience includes serving as the Manager of Strategic Infrastructure Planning at Moreton Bay Regional Council, where she was responsible for planning trunk infrastructure to cater for the high-growth occuring within the Council area.
At Forecaz, Julia is responsible for analysing and transforming Local Government planning schemes and customer data into the datasets required for Forecaz models.
